Country and nation
A country is merely a physical area of space that was determined as "country X" for the sake of geographical identification.
A nation is a group of people coming together to work together towards common aims in the lives.
The problem with many people is that they mistook "country" as their "nation", OR they were somehow make into believing in that. OR, they let people determine for them what is their country and what is their nation.
Nation, can be made up of just 2 persons or 2 million persons.
if you and your wife,decide that the way of life you want is not wearing clothes everyday, then your house is your "country". the two of you is a nation. if someone do not mind the way your "nation" is runned, they can come visit you in your "country"
of coz, if you need to travel out of your "country" to buy vegetables at the market downstairs, then you need to change your way of conduct(wearing clothes) to suit other"nations" once you are in their "country". this is merely mutual respect of different nations' culture.
If you notice, the above analogy is exactly what you experience if you travel to other countries/nations. If you come from a country/nation that ban guns, and you travel to a country is guns are sold like apples in the mart, you cannot report to the police to catch them. that's how this nation is like. Likewise, a person from a gun sales country/nation coming to your country, cannot bring guns with him, cannot buy/sell arms in your country/nation.
Back to the analogy, so maybe one day your neighbour and his wife next door finds going naked in their house is their way of life too, and they talk to you. both of you agree that you guys can live together most importantly, by living together in the same "country", the "nation" will be better off. eg, you now can chat with more friends who share the same ideals and interest, you no longer can only be naked in front of your life, ALL OF YOU ARE HAPPIER OR BETTER OFF, then the "nation" get bigger, and the "country" now is the the combine area if your house and your neighbour's house.
You guys can do some renovation such that your houses are interlinked, and as long as people from other "nations" do not have to be forced to your behaviour in their "country", then its ok.
Similarly, the 4 of you having a pinic by the side of a river with no people from other nations are around, your "country" is now the area where no one will have to be force to see you guys naked in open air.
If you notice, if someone is forced into your "nation" way of conduct, in today's context, it's call war.
Back to the analogy, if now the four of you thinks of playing a soccer match with all the players naked, you would know that first you need a bigger "nation", at least 20 over people who also enjoys being naked, secondly, you need a TEMPORARY space to be your "country" for the duration of the game, then you need more "immigrants" into your "nation"
Notice, I emphasize that "country" can be temporary, but a nation is not as long as your ideals in the nation do not change.
So now the four of you decide to let more people know about your "nation", and besides putting up ads in the internet and media, you decide to organize small gatherings at starbucks to talk to more people to let people meet the 4 of you so they get to know what your "nation" is like. Because FORCING OTHER PEOPLE IS NOT THE IDEAL IN YOUR NATION, the 4 of you firmly object to the use of guns, force, war.
Notice, everyone can be the spokesman for your nation because all of you share the same ideals.
But now, you know that by organizing these small gathering for interested people, you need to sacrifice time being naked in your "country", you need to wear clothes since you are in other people's country and meeting people who are at the moment, citizens of another "nation". However, all of you think having a naked soccer match is just something you guys want to achieve as a "nation", and maybe in the future, if the "nation" gets big enough, you can have a naked soccer league.
So all 4 of you decide that by sacrificing time for the common goal that is FALLING INSIDE the fundamental ideals of your nation and NOT ANYTHING OUTSIDE THE FUNDAMENTAL IDEALS of your "nation", the four of you sacrifice willingly.
So one day, maybe somehow, 2 million people decide to join your nation, and you realize you need a big "country" for this "nation". the size of these nation is too big and not logistically feasible to shift to another space easily, so you make known to the world that this big area is a certain continent is permanently the home of your naked "nation", where everyone are naked as long as they are in this country.
Take note, all citizens in this kind of world are free to change their "nation" anytime they want.
By these definitions of country and nations, you realize ALL THESE are not possible if the people involved are not civilized or have a certain standard of education or international awareness of other cultures.
Basically, you are your own government.
If one day, your ideal of your "nation" changed, you can always break off from this nation you are at and look for one that suits your ideal, or simple create a nation yourself(it's not hard, it only needs 2 person)
I am writing this because I hate politicians making people going to war, or taking things away from them, making people sacrificing themselves from the good of their nation/country.
This is absolutely wrong in logic.
Country, like i said, is merely a physical space, why sacrifice for it?
So if you say you are doing it for a nation, then your nation better have killing other people to achieve what they want as an ideal before you make people going to war. if the leader is the only one who wants a war, and he uses his power to make people in his "nation" to sacrifice for him, then he already is not in line in the "nation"s theory.
Most people are not living in a "nation" that they want. But they do not even know that. Most people living in a physical place (country) with rules that are being forced on them (wrong nation theory) thinks that is how living in a country is like (nation do not come into the picture at all)
So ask yourself today, what is your nationality and give less thoughts on what is your country
